A dress, a bag, shoes

I have been attending weddings quiet often of late. I have two coming up in the two coming weekends. I am beginning to get tired. Not of the weddings, I LOVE weddings (cause of the cake). I am getting tired of thinking of what to wear to a wedding. I cannot repeat a dress - that is simply out. I have a couple of dresses that I am yet to wear so for now I am covered. But then what happens when another one comes up? The whole procedure of thinking what dress, what shoes, which handbag, which accessories, which undies aiii too much! Maybe I am thinking toooo much but can I stop?

That is how you end up with two pairs of brown shoes that ALMOST look alike. And then I start wondering why I can't wear knee-high boots to a wedding. Sigh. I just know I need a nice pair of verrrry red shoes for a wedding in August. and maybe some red undies. ohhh retail therapy. and red accessories. or black? hmmmm.

Have flat sandals in the following colours BLACK (3), WHITE (2), GREEN(1) and there will be no two people in the world with the same green sandals (tried and tested this one!), red(MUST HAVE),brown (2).

Okay I am getting carried away. Mami, you do not buy the shoes when you get the wedding invite.

PROCEDURE;
1. YOU SEE NICE SHOES
2. YOU BUY SAID SHOES
3. YOU WAIT FOR INVITATION
4. YOU START TO LOOK FOR THE DRESS TO MARCH SAID SHOES.

BUT YOU NEVER WALK AWAY FROM A GOOD PAIR OF SHOES. Unless your bank manager is actually camped outside your house!!!!!!!!!!!!

@half/half(a)but i will remember and (b)this world is so small i dont want to hear "oh i saw you at a wedding in april wearing this same dress and (c)i am all for eloping :-) this business of feeding crowds and i can't turn water to wine or multiply one plate of pilau to feed the multitude waaaaah elope's the word!

@Majonzi - repeating dresses is not for me. kwanza weddings? aiii no! and about the green sandals...i got some cute ones that i usually wear with a white dress. guess what i need now. a green handbag! HEEEEELPPP!
